World Refugee Day is almost here, and we're incredibly excited to invite you to join Fugee at two powerful events dedicated to raising awareness, fostering empathy, and celebrating the resilience of refugee communities in Malaysia!
This June, Fugee will be participating in two distinct events, each offering unique ways to connect, learn, and contribute to a more inclusive society.
1) Stand With Myanmar
Join us for a vibrant two-day event organised by the Coalition of Burma Ethnics Malaysia (COBEM) and other NGOs, focusing on human rights and solidarity with the people of Myanmar.

💬 Jom Borak
Experience our unique Jom Borak sessions, designed to bring Malaysians and refugees together for games, cultural exchange, and unforgettable conversations that break down barriers.

2) Invisible People Exhibition
Discover a powerful exhibition featuring documentary screenings, art, photography, and insightful discussions. Organised by the team behind Invisible People, an animated docuseries telling the stories of refugees and migrants through animation and interviews by filmmaker Jean Ho.

🍜 The Mixing Bowl by Dari Dapur x Fugee
Make new friends and connect with youths from migrant and refugee communities over a curated selection of snacks from the refugee & migrant community. This session encourages open conversation and helps participants explore their roles in shaping an inclusive society.
