Donation & Support
Currently, donations to Fugee are not tax-deductible. Due to the nature of our work with refugees and their uncertain legal status in Malaysia, we are unable to obtain tax-exempt status. However, your contribution directly supports refugee education and essential services for students in need.
You can donate to us through:
- Our Online Donation Page, where you can choose to make a one-time donation or set-up a recurring donation.
- You may also donate to our HiEd programmes here.

Yes, you can modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time through the customer portal. The link to your customer portal can be found in your subscription confirmation email. The recurring donation system is managed through Seal Subscriptions, which allows you to:
- Pause or cancel your donation anytime through the customer portal, unless your subscription requires a minimum number of payments before cancellation.
- Skip or reschedule a charge using the "Skip payment" or "Reschedule" options in the portal.
- Add or modify donation amounts by editing your subscription details.
- Update your payment method if a charge fails, through the email link provided.

Fugee School Students/Parents
We are currently developing an online registration form that will be available on the Fugee website. This form will include intake dates and required information for parents or guardians to complete before their child is invited for a placement test based on their grade level.

Fugee School offers a well-structured educational program tailored to different age groups:
- Kindergarten: Montessori components and play-based learning
- Year 1-6: Cambridge Checkpoint
- Year 7-9: A hybrid curriculum combining Cambridge and Texas Core for GED
- GED Programme: GED curriculum
Fugee School operates on a three-term academic year, with each term lasting three months. Our current school hours are:
- Kindergarten: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
- Year 1-4 & GED Program: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Year 5-9 & Foundation: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
**Note: School hours may change in August 2025 when we relocate.
Yes, Fugee School collaborates with HumanKind to provide free counselling services for students. Counselling support for parents are available on a case-by-case basis.
Special Education Needs (SEN) Support: Unfortunately, we do not currently offer specialised education services.
Fugee HiEd
Fugee does not directly place students into universities. However, we provide guidance, resources and skill development to help prepare you for higher education through our CERTE programme.
No, Fugee is not a university or college. Applicants are responsible for securing admission to a university of their choice. Once admitted, they can apply for the scholarship, provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Currently, our study aid program is not open for public applications and is available only through a closed partnership with our partner university.

The scholarship covers annual tuition fees for a Bachelor’s degree for up to four years.
As a Fugee HiEd Scholar you will also have access to Mental Health support, a Mentorship Programme and Self/Career Development Opportunities. Scholars will also need to commit to 25 hours of mandatory active volunteering per annum.
We will also consider applications for Foundation and Diploma programmes.
The scholarship is available only for Foundation, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree Programmes of one year or more. You can complete your bachelor’s degree in a University located in Malaysia or Online.
We currently do not provide scholarships for students:
- studying IGCSE, GED, O-levels or other high school diplomas
- studying A-Levels
- studying Master’s or PhD.
No. You can apply for the scholarship even if you’re already in your second, third or fourth year of your bachelor’s programme.
- Passport copy or proof of identity
- UNHCR card or equivalent refugee status document
- Official university offer letter or proof of application
- High school transcripts or equivalent academic records
- Tuition fee structure from the university
